HIPS is a thermoplastic material made of elastomer-modified polystyrene. A two-phase system of rubber and continuous polystyrene phases has developed as a world-important polymer commodity, with a wide range of impact and processing properties, enabling extensive applications such as automotive, devices, electric products, furniture, furniture, household appliances, telecommunications, electronics, computers, disposable goods, medicine, packaging and entertainment markets.<\/p>\n
Polystyrene is one of the oldest industrially produced thermoplastic polymers with a wide range of very versatile products. The advantages of this bright, pure noncrystalline plastic are easy machining, rigidity, size stability, and transparency, but the low impact strength limits its application.<\/p>\n

HIPS is widely used in many appliances and industries, due to its manufacturing convenience and low cost. Major industrial and markets include packaging, disposable goods, appliances and consumer appliances, toys and entertainment supplies, construction products, and ornaments.
