Main application

Trihydroxymethylpropane (TMP), white sheet crystalline. It is easily soluble in water, low carbon alcohol, glycerol, N,N-dimethyl formamide, partly soluble in acetone, acetyl acetate, and slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride, ether, and chloroform. It is mainly used in alkyl resin, polyurethane, unsaturated resin, polyester resin, coating, but also in synthetic aviation lubricating oil, printing ink, and can also be used as a textile agent and thermal stabilizer of PVC resin.
